Caspite cattery started nearly three years ago when Caspar a neuter black shaded kitten arrived from Miamber Cattery in Melbourne Victoria. His amazing nature, want to be with you personality won us over as did his green eyes, red brick nose and the fabulous silver coat. All who come to our house fall in love with him and many visitors had to be searched before leaving.
My husband did not want another cat as I have show Border Collies and felt enough was enough. However the Burmillas have won him over especially since our show girl, Miamber Silver Marcasite a 4th Generation kitten arrived. Her beauty and personality have made us decide to share these cats with other people.
Marcasite had her first show outing in Victoria as a kitten winning places in group and Best of Breed, she has also impressed judges in NSW with her elegance and clear coat achieving places in group and judges awards with limited showing. Michelle Ristuccio has been amazing with her guidance and for allowing me to have her cats.
Our first litter of Burmillas was born on January 21st 2008 thanks to Michelle and Miamber.
Carole Galli a Western Australian breeder of Burmillas and Burmese has also offered her support and help in setting up our Burmilla cattery and to her we also say thank you.
